Principle of industrial ultrasonic cavitation treatment equipment

Ultrasound is an effective means of destroying cell structure. This effect can be used to extract intracellular substances. For example, starch can be extracted from the cell matrix. Ultrasound produces alternating high and low pressures in the exposed liquid. During the low-pressure cycle, ultrasound produces small vacuum bubbles in the liquid, and the vacuum bubbles burst violently during the high-pressure cycle. This phenomenon is called cavitation. The implosion of cavitation bubbles causes strong fluid dynamic shear force. Shear force can break down fibrous, fibrous materials into cell particles and destroy the structure of cell walls. This releases intracellular substances such as starch and sugar into the liquid. In addition, the cell wall material is broken into small fragments. Depending on the ultrasonic parameters used, ultrasound has a destructive or constructive effect on cells, depending on the ultrasonic parameters used.
