What are the common problems of ultrasonic transducers?

1. If the ultrasonic vibrator is damp, you can use a megohmmeter to check the plug connected to the transducer. Checking the insulation resistance value can determine the basic situation. Generally, the insulation resistance is required to be greater than 5 megohms. If this insulation resistance value cannot be reached, it is generally because the transducer is damp. The entire transducer (excluding the spray-coated shell) can be placed in an oven at 100°C for about 3 hours or a hair dryer can be used to remove moisture until the resistance value is normal.

2. The transducer vibrator is sparking and the ceramic material is broken. It can be checked with the naked eye and a megohmmeter. Generally, as an emergency measure, the individual damaged vibrators can be disconnected without affecting the normal use of other vibrators.

3. The vibrator is debonded. Our transducer adopts a dual guarantee process of bonding and screw tightening. Under normal circumstances, this situation will not occur; the stainless steel vibration surface is perforated. Generally, the vibration surface may be perforated when the transducer is used at full load for 10 years.
