Mechanical Failure And Solution Of Ultrasonic Cleaner

1. Damaged transducer
Analysis: It is very likely that the ultrasonic cleaner is in long-term use, and the temperature will continue to rise, causing the colloid to melt and the transducer to peel off or the transducer ceramic part to break.
Detection and treatment: Use an ohmmeter to measure the insulation strength of the transducer. If the insulation strength is below 200MΩ, it cannot be used and a new transducer must be replaced.
The internal ceramic of the transducer will also break due to long-term use, making it unable to work normally.

2. Damaged fuse of ultrasonic cleaner
If there is no power supply indication and no action after turning on the machine, first consider whether the fuse in the power supply socket is damaged.
Analysis: It is very likely that the user's ground wire is mixed with the live wire or the neutral wire, and is not grounded (the ground wire of this machine is connected to the machine casing). It may also be a short circuit fault of the ultrasonic cleaner, and the aging of electronic components will cause a short circuit fault, causing the insurance to be damaged.
Detection and treatment: Take out the insurance to see if it is broken, use the multimeter on and off to measure whether it is disconnected, and replace the device.

3. The power tube of the ultrasonic cleaning machine is damaged
Analysis: The power tube on the motherboard will be short-circuited due to the long-term uninterrupted use of the ultrasonic cleaning machine or the long-term use of too little cleaning liquid.
Detection and solution: When the power tube is connected on the motherboard, use a multimeter to measure the resistance of the pins on both sides of the power tube. Normally, it should be within 22Ω. After getting the power tube (disconnected from the motherboard), measure that there should be no connection between its pins.

4. The voltage regulator is damaged
Analysis: The voltage regulator is usually damaged after the power tube resistance is small or short-circuited, and it is caused by turning on the machine. It is very rare for it to be damaged.
Detection and solution: According to the characteristics of the diode, it is forward-conducting and reverse-cutting. Use the multimeter diode range to measure, the forward resistance is within 70Ω, and the reverse direction is ∞. If the numerical error is too large or the forward resistance is also ∞, replace the voltage regulator.

5. Damage of the bridge (diode rectifier circuit)
Analysis: Same as the situation of the voltage regulator
Detection and solution: Same as the diode characteristics (the bridge is originally composed of diodes)

6. Damage of inductors and isolation transformers
Analysis: Due to the long-term operation of the ultrasonic cleaning machine, the inductor and transformer are heat dissipation components, which may melt and be damaged due to the high temperature, resulting in a short circuit.
Detection and solution: In most cases, the damage of the inductor and transformer can be seen visually, and the components can be replaced.

7. Damage of the control board (adjustable ultrasonic cleaning machine)
Analysis: The long-term continuous operation of the ultrasonic cleaning machine is related to the aging of the components, and sometimes it is related to the penetration of the cleaning fluid.
Detection and solution: Without starting the ultrasonic cleaning machine, disconnect the control board from the main board.
